Phoenix Dust Storm 2007
Every year about this time it becomes a lousy time to play golf in the Phoenix-Mesa region because of this. Reportedly visibility was reduced to 30 feet. This video is raw feed from a TV news chopper covering the story. Sadly one of the two aircraft was involved in a fatal mid-air sometime after this day.
